On a bright sunny cold day, Glen Innes School went on an amazing trip to the Buddhist Temple that was located at Flat Bush. We all gathered at the hall to sort out our groups, as the teachers were sorting out the groups all the students were  busy talking about what are the things we are going to be doing at the Buddhist Temple.

While the children was making there way to their groups Mr Hendricks went over a few rules before we our way to the bus. He was also talking about the things we were going to be doing there. We all set off to the bus, we all took our seats and we were ready to go.

We arrived at the Temple we didn’t see anything until we entered the gate. All the children in the bus were all gasping in excitement looking at the buildings. It almost felt like we were at China Town, all of the juniors got out of there seat and was leaning against the windows.

As all the students were informed by the tour guides, we made our way through the lovely garden that hasn’t been discovered before. As we triggered our self to a bundle of several activities it felt like we were being leaded into an enchanted forest.

Time went by as we enjoyed our activities. There were many activities given to us, also one of them were about the 3G’s. The 3G’s are the three good’s. The three goods are Think good thoughts, do good things and speak good words. The 4G’s are similar to the 3G’s but the 4G’s are the four givings. The four givings are give confidence, give convenience, give joy and give hope.

Next we were off to have our snacks, biscuits and fresh water was given to us by the tour guides. We all set ourselves to the bridge’s. The biscuits were very delicious, that I could taste the chocolate melt in my mouth while I was gulping down more biscuits and water.

“Close your eyes and take a deep breath in’ said the speaker. We all did as we were said and as we closed our eyes and took deep breaths, it felt very clam at first but it got even more peaceful when we took several breaths. Talking with the cops was funny, awesome and interesting. We discovered and experienced new things on our journey to the Buddhist Temple.
