Violent video games.

- Do you think you are mature enough to play these games?

Answers:

- I agree that young children should not be watching and playing red label movies, videos and games unless they are the expected level to play or watch.
- I wouldn’t make a single change.
- I haven’t watched a mature movie but I have played a mature game called call of duty.
- I think no because there might be violence or inappropriate things that will show that i’m not supposed to see.

His list was compiled in 1994. What games are on the list today?
In this article what criteria has been considered whether a game is violent or not?
How does this compare to NZ ratings?
Do you agree with the author’s conclusions of each game? Why or Why not?

Answer:

Night trap, Mortal Kombat, Lethal enforcers, Ground zero texas, Splatterhouse, Prize fighter, Street fighter 2, Terminator 2, Mutant league football, Clay fighter and Call of duty.
You will know because of  the cover or rating
New zealand ratings are bad compared to other places in the world and new zealand still sell violent games and movies to young viewers.
I agree because many underaged people have played 1 or more of these game which they are underaged to play.

My viewpoint on violent movies, videos and video games.

Violent games are cool but the more you play it and get use to it then it will distract you and lead you to another direction when doing your work at school or at home. Violent movies are not suitable for kids who are under 15 . Kids have to be careful what they are watching now because the internet is really dangerous. Violent movies shows you things that you aren’t supposed to watch for example violence and sexual scenes.
